I was doing an ice-cream reset today-actually have been doing them for a week and got sick- had to call the doctor and take medicine-YUK!!! I wish I wasn't allergic to milk.

I just googled me and find that I am to be in Wichita on the 1st- I forgot- my mom's been ill- everyone pray for her. Its funny how Google can keep up with us- try it- google Sicily Yoder and you'll even see my blog!!!

I've really gotten more frugal since joining this site- I am finding ways to save money for others in my family too. I did eat out this week, but it was mystery shops. I love the weather today- its nice again. We are having homemade burritos tonight and salad with ranch dressing and boiled eggs.

My 19-yr-old has BEGGED for these and eaten them 4 nights- now, we are talking about a big steak & potatoes teen here- Here is my recipe:

Process bread crumbs, garlic salt, paprika, tumeric, seasoned salt, chili pepper and black pepper in a food processor. Place a tablespoon of each on tortillas. Top with cooked lentils. Add 1/2 slice of cheese, and roll. Bake 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Top with sour cream.

These cost only .30 each to make.

I was talking with my God-mom about frugal vacation ideas- state parks are nice- ther is one in Spencer, Indiana that I love. I was going to go on a big vacation, but I am really enjoying working to pay off debt, so I'll take some weekend adventures. Any ideas?

I worked today- had alot of fun- we got doen early, so I went shopping in Louisvile- thrift stores- I love them. I got a new blender( Sunbeam for $8.00) and some clothes- new ones for $30.00!!!

OK- maybe I never noticed it before I was trying to save money, but I just went to Dairy Queen and the ice cream was $1.67!!! That's extremely high-but I had already ordered it, so I got it. There ice cream doesn't make me sick, as the kind in the store does for some reason.

I got a free Chick-Fil-A today- I had a coupon from the 2007 calender. I did buy a fruit cup though- I forgot to bring my lunch. I'm fixing spagetti tonight.

I have been working on my next book today. I have to search for a designer for my cover and someone to convert it to Adobe for me. I only has Word. It will be a great novel- a romance novel. I've been invited to my God-mom's for supper- we are making PA pretzels and homemade crackers and she is fixing spagetti- my fav.

We had tons of large, white snowflakes hurling around for hours this morning. We hate tuna-cream cheese melts, leftover cornbread and white grapes for brunch. I use the Jiffy cornbread and sub the milk for a can of cream-style corn- its delicious. The tuna melts are good too:
2 cans tuns
4 oz cream cheese, softened
miracle whip- 4 oz( I'm estimating- I just add and mix.)
Mix the ingredients. Set aside. Grill 4 hamburger buns in butter over med-hign heat. Remove and immediately add cheese slices to bottom. Top with tuna mixture, add sweet pickles. Enjoy

I paid my sales tax today. I hate doing taxes. I really do- I just don't understand it much.

I tried it- I really did- I have rice, red beans, etc and I'm tired of all of it, so I ate out today....and yesterday, so that it goes for the $25.00 a week. I didn't get a manicure though- so I saved $35.00- I drove past the place twice, so I am proud of myself. I'm getting pictures taken for my new book cover the end of this month- I'm so excited. I've enjoyed the low-key life with my family- will be back on tour in April.... I know, I said I would enver tour again- I was just burned out of the fast lane- I mean, everyone looks at the glamour, freebies, and trips an actress/author gets to take and never factor in the hard work that goes behind it. Its a tough life.

It's been really bad where my stepgrandma's son lives- near Enterprise, AL. We are supposed to get bad weather tonight- I hate tornados. I love spring because of early gardening/flower gardens, but I hate the unpredictiable KY weather.
