Anyone Have Great Places For My Tour Bus To Stop ?

As most know, I'm planning my 2008 tour- well, Clancy, my publicist is actually doing it. I wanted to meet as many folks from the blog as I could while traveling. We are looking for cool towns to visit. Any suggestions? February we will be in South Carolina at the book festival where I will also be a celebrity shopper for Dress For Success. I am sponsoring a fashion show there too, in the spring. Anyone in that area, please come out to support the cause. I will be in Chicago in February. I will be attending the tribute to Meryl Streep at the Lincoln Cnenter in April, and Hawaii is last in May ( and vacation time!)

    Is this tour for a cookbook?? If so, this is what I would hit up:

    libraries
    community centers
    home-ec cooking classes
    junior colleges
    ma & pop bookstores

    Are you going to be selling books as you go along?? Is there a website where we can see your book??

    I'm in New Bedford, about an hour South of Boston, Mass and 45 mins East of Providence, RI.

    Thanks- I'll be in Providence in March. I'll email you- thanks so much, Koppur! Julie- I'll be in Charleston for the book festival- its on a weekend. Yes, I'll have cookbooks along the way, as well as my new series, "Rebekka's Heart"- the first book in the "Sisters of Clay County" 5-book series. I don't think Clancy put my book on my new site yet- but I'll check- my new site is www.freewebs.com/theamishgarden - its not live yet until she finishes it, then the freewebs will not be part of the internet addy.
